Welcome to Room 1's Learning Blog! Here you will find information, children's published work, and links to learning activities and games for Room 1 students.
In visual art, we have been learning how to hold a paintbrush correctly and apply paint. Take a look at our wonderful van Gogh sunflower paintings which we showed at assembly today!
These sunflowers are very impressive, Joel described and showed how he painted his sunflowers- "with no gaps" and remembered that they were painted by some man - van Goph- I told him and he said "aww yeah, he done his and I done mine". I will make an effort to blog more frequently and keep an eye on what our tamariki are up too. I must get his sunflower painting when it comes off the wall. I will frame it. Thank you Mrs Haythornthwaite.
